Minotaursacred Creambakery began with two storytellers, a stack of dog-eared old books and one rule: read a legend twice before retelling it to anyone. That rule never left us.
The shelf is fuller now and our circle of writers has grown, but nothing else changed: we still trace every tale back to its oldest telling before we publish a single word of it.
A legend reaches our pages only after we have followed it back through every old book, ancient carving, and retelling we can find.
Three thousand words for the richest myth, five hundred for the simplest fable. Past that, a story stops being a story and starts being a lecture.
If a day is long and steep we say so. Nobody enjoys a trip harder than the page promised.
